Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: September 2026
Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary classroom? A welcoming primary school in the Doncaster area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in supporting pupils' learning and development across the primary age range. Working closely with class teachers, you will deliver targeted interventions, provide classroom support and help create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive. Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.

Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions where required.

Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources.

Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and participation in lessons.

Work closely with teachers to monitor progress and provide feedback.

Help maintain a safe, positive and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements:

A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, proactive and flexible approach.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
