About the Role:
GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently looking for a Supply Teacher to work across supportive schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across a range of year groups, maintain continuity in pupils' learning, and gain valuable experience in different educational settings.

Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.

Adapt confidently to different classroom environments.

Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Provide clear feedback to teaching staff at the end of each day where appropriate.
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Previous experience teaching within UK schools is desirable.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.

An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
