Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (Lincoln)
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September 2026
Contract Type: Ad-hoc Daily Supply | Full-time / Part-time | Flexible
GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools across Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who are looking for flexible work, whether you want to teach a few days a week or are seeking regular supply assignments.
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning while maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and subject areas
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following each lesson
- Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- The ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
