Teaching Assistant – Sleaford

Location: Sleaford
Salary: £93 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Day-to-day

GSL Education is seeking a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to support schools across Sleaford. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential in a supportive learning environment.

Working alongside teachers, you will provide classroom support, encourage student engagement, and help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every learner can succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning
  • Assist pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage student participation
  • Help prepare classroom resources and learning activities
  • Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
  • A patient, positive, and supportive approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
