Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Boston)
Location: Boston
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September / October 2026
Contract Type: Full-time | Long-term / Permanent
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Boston from September or October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about helping students develop confidence, resilience, and success in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire learners of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising student attainment
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
