Are you a passionate and dedicated PMLD Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex learning needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic PMLD Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive specialist school in Colchester, starting September.
As a PMLD Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering highly personalised and engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, healthcare professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have a patient and compassionate approach, strong classroom management skills and a commitment to supporting students with complex needs. Experience working with sensory learning, communication aids, personal care and therapeutic approaches would be highly beneficial.

Requirements:
• QTS, PGCE, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching students with PMLD, SLD or complex learning needs.
• Strong understanding of personalised learning and sensory-based approaches.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for supporting students with additional needs and helping them achieve positive outcomes.
