Are you a passionate and dedicated SLD Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic SLD Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive specialist school in Chelmsford, starting September.
As an SLD Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You will work closely with support staff, therapists and the wider school team to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where students can develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a nurturing approach and a genuine commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning. Experience supporting students with communication difficulties, autism and complex needs would be advantageous.

Requirements:
• QTS, PGCE, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching students with SLD, SEND or complex learning needs.
• Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and inclusive education.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for supporting students with additional needs and helping them achieve positive outcomes.
