Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN Primary School in Lincoln from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
The school caters for pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Staff are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
- Encouraging pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Promoting a positive and safe learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists and other professionals to meet individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- Be patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs.
- Be available to work Monday to Friday on a full-time basis.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
