Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor across thriving schools in Sheffield. We are seeking a reliable and adaptable individual who can supervise lessons, maintain positive behaviour, and support students in achieving their learning objectives.
The Cover Supervisor role offers a strong route into education, providing valuable experience in classroom leadership, behaviour management, and student engagement.
Responsibilities of CS:
- Supervise lessons using work prepared by teaching staff
- Ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout learning activities
- Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students in completing assigned tasks and activities
- Monitor attendance and report concerns to relevant staff members
- Contribute to a productive and supportive classroom environment
Requirements for CS:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Confidence managing groups of students in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to different subjects and classroom environments
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
