Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £95 – £119 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role
As the successful Year 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism and ADHD
- Support emotional regulation, concentration, and classroom engagement
- Implement structured routines and visual support strategies
- Adapt learning activities to promote independence and understanding
- Use positive behaviour management and reinforcement techniques
- Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team
The successful candidate will understand that behaviour is often a form of communication and will be confident using a calm, patient, and proactive approach.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or similar role
- Strong understanding of Autism and ADHD
- Experience supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
- Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
