Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a Sports Coach to work across vibrant schools in Sheffield. We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual who can use coaching experience to encourage participation, teamwork, and positive engagement.
The Sports Coach role supports young people through structured physical activities that promote resilience, motivation, and personal development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sports-based activities that encourage participation and active involvement
- Use coaching methods to develop teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence
- Encourage positive behaviour through structured routines and clear expectations
- Support students in setting goals and recognising personal progress
- Help create inclusive activities that allow all students to take part
- Work with staff to promote engagement, wellbeing, and personal growth
Sports Coach Requirements:
- Experience in sports coaching, fitness, recreation, or similar settings
- Ability to motivate and engage young people through practical activities
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisation skills
- Positive, adaptable, and energetic approach to working with students
- Commitment to promoting confidence, participation, and wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
