Job Title: Computer Studies Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Studies Teacher to work in a vibrant school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking teacher who can deliver engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of computing, digital literacy, and technology.

Responsibilities of Computer Studies (CS) Teacher:
- Deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons that promote digital literacy and technical understanding
- Teach key computing concepts, including programming, data handling, and online safety
- Encourage students to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Adapt teaching methods to meet varying learning needs and abilities
- Promote responsible and safe use of technology within the learning environment
Requirements for Computer Studies Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Studies, Computing, or related subjects is desirable
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and computing principles
- Ability to engage students through practical and interactive learning approaches
- Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
