Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in an amazing school in Doncaster. We are seeking a confident and adaptable individual who can guide classroom activities, keep students on task, and maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
The Cover Supervisor (CS) role provides a practical route into classroom-based work, giving you the chance to lead pre-planned lessons and support students across the school day.
Responsibilities of the CS role:
- Supervise lessons using pre-planned materials provided by teaching staff
- Ensure students remain on task and follow classroom expectations
- Manage classroom behaviour in a calm and professional manner
- Provide guidance and support where appropriate during learning activities
- Record attendance and report any concerns or incidents to staff
- Create a positive atmosphere that encourages participation and engagement
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
- Experience supporting young people through education, mentoring, coaching, or similar roles
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to lead a classroom with confidence and professionalism
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable approach to different learning environments
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
