Job Title: Behaviour Support (Secondary)

Salary: £460 - £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support professional, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support. You will help promote positive behaviour, encourage engagement in learning and provide guidance that enables students to thrive within the school environment.
Responsibilities:

Support students in managing their behaviour and engagement in lessons

Build positive and professional relationships with pupils

Work alongside teaching staff to implement behaviour support strategies

Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
-
Encourage attendance, participation and positive decision-making

Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to relevant staff

Help maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
-
Experience supporting behaviour management is advantageous

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Calm, resilient and proactive approach

Ability to build positive relationships and establish boundaries

Commitment to supporting student wellbeing and development
