Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term

Secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking creative and enthusiastic Drama Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop confidence, communication skills and a passion for performance.

About the Role:
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver dynamic lessons that inspire students through performance, theatre studies and creative expression. You will encourage participation, build confidence and create a positive learning environment where students feel supported to develop their skills.
Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4

Encourage creativity, teamwork and self-expression through performance

Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements

Support students in developing practical and theoretical drama skills

Maintain positive classroom behaviour and high expectations

Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Contribute to school productions, performances or enrichment activities where appropriate
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
-
Passion for the performing arts and student development
-
Professional, adaptable and reliable approach
