Looking for a Drama Teacher in Sheffield!

Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

Secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking creative and enthusiastic Drama Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop confidence, communication skills and a passion for performance.

About the Role:
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver dynamic lessons that inspire students through performance, theatre studies and creative expression. You will encourage participation, build confidence and create a positive learning environment where students feel supported to develop their skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Encourage creativity, teamwork and self-expression through performance

  • Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements

  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical drama skills

  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and high expectations

  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • Contribute to school productions, performances or enrichment activities where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Passion for the performing arts and student development

  • Professional, adaptable and reliable approach
