Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs. You may support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them remain engaged, regulated, and motivated throughout the school day. This role is ideal for someone patient, adaptable, and committed to making a meaningful difference in the classroom.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN during lessons and classroom activities

Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning support

Provide one-to-one and small group intervention where required

Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and participation

Help create a safe, calm, and supportive learning environment

Assist with adapting resources to meet individual learning needs

Monitor pupil progress and communicate feedback to staff
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, supportive, and proactive approach

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
