Job Title: Behaviour Support (Secondary)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you passionate about supporting young people with behavioural needs and helping them succeed both in and out of the classroom? A supportive secondary setting in Sheffield is seeking a committed Behaviour Support (Secondary) practitioner to join their team.

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support (Secondary), you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to remain engaged in lessons and access learning effectively. You will support classroom staff, implement behaviour strategies and contribute to creating a safe and structured environment.
Responsibilities:

Support students with behavioural and emotional needs across the classroom

Work alongside teaching staff to maintain a positive learning environment

Implement agreed behaviour strategies and intervention plans

Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and participation in learning

Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

Help de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and professional manner

Promote consistency, structure and routines throughout the school day
Requirements:

Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
-
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Calm, resilient and patient approach
-
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

A proactive and supportive attitude towards student development
