Maths Teacher Job – Oldham | Immediate Start | September Contract Opportunity
Location: Oldham
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time | Immediate Start Through to July
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a confident and engaging Maths Teacher to join a well-supported secondary school in Oldham immediately.
The school is looking to appoint someone ASAP on a long-term basis, with the successful teacher having the opportunity to interview for a 1-year fixed-term contract starting in September.

About the Role – Maths Teacher (Oldham)
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make progress
- Working collaboratively with the Maths department
- Maintaining high expectations and positive classroom routines
The school is open to experienced teachers and strong ECTs who can demonstrate confidence, organisation, and strong subject knowledge.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Good curriculum knowledge and assessment understanding
- A proactive and professional approach
