SEN Teaching Assistant

Boston, Lincolnshire
Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Supply Role with Potential for Long-Term/Permanent Placement

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in the Boston, Lincolnshire area.

This role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEN, ASD, ADHD and SEMH. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
  • Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
  • Assisting with classroom activities and learning tasks
  • Encouraging student engagement, independence and confidence
  • Supporting emotional and behavioural needs where required
  • Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in roles such as:

  • Teaching Assistant
  • Support Worker
  • Care Worker
  • SEN/SEMH Support
  • Youth Worker
  • Nursery or Residential Care

The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

This is initially a supply-based role with the opportunity to become long-term or permanent for the right candidate.
