Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you confident leading a classroom and supporting young people in their learning? A range of secondary schools in Doncaster are seeking reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors to provide high-quality lesson supervision across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. You will play a key role in maintaining classroom standards, supporting behaviour, and ensuring learning continues smoothly across a variety of subjects.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff

Ensure students remain focused on pre-set work

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Maintain a calm and structured learning environment

Support student engagement and learning continuity

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Adapt to different subjects and classroom settings
Requirements:

Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

Confident, calm and professional approach

Ability to adapt quickly to different situations

Reliable and committed attitude

A genuine interest in supporting student learning and development
