Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you confident managing a classroom and supporting students in their learning? A number of secondary schools in Worksop are seeking dependable and adaptable Cover Supervisors to step in and provide effective classroom supervision across a range of subjects.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. You will play a key role in maintaining learning continuity, supporting behaviour, and ensuring a calm and productive classroom environment across different subjects and year groups.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher

Ensure students remain engaged with pre-set work

Manage behaviour in line with school policies

Maintain a calm and structured classroom environment

Support positive learning habits and student focus

Report any concerns to relevant staff when required

Adapt quickly to different lessons and school settings
Requirements:

Experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confident, calm and professional approach

Ability to adapt quickly and remain flexible

Reliable and committed attitude

Genuine interest in supporting student learning
