Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A number of secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking enthusiastic and committed PE Teachers to deliver high-quality physical education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and active PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of all abilities to develop their skills, fitness and understanding of sport. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress, and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities where required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Promote participation, teamwork and positive behaviour in lessons

  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress

  • Maintain a safe and structured environment during physical activities

  • Encourage students of all abilities to engage in sport and physical education

  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school sport activities

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the PE department

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Passion for sport, fitness and student development

  • Ability to motivate and engage young people of all abilities

  • Professional, reliable and adaptable approach
