Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated Cover Supervisor to work within schools across Sheffield.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes, delivering pre-set work, and ensuring students remain engaged and focused throughout lessons.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during teacher absence using provided lesson materials.
- Maintain positive behaviour and follow school behaviour policies effectively.
- Ensure students stay on task and complete assigned work.
- Provide clear instructions and support where appropriate.
- Manage classroom routines to create a calm and productive learning environment.
- Report back to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
Requirements of CS:
- Previous experience working with young people or within an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence managing groups of students independently.
- A professional, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
