Pay rate: £120-£220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Contract Type: Long-term, Full time (permanent placement for the right candidate)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to work within a welcoming primary school in Sheffield (S11). This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with strong classroom presence, effective planning skills, and the ability to maintain a positive and structured learning environment.

As a Key Stage2 (KS2) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development while ensuring high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to support learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote pupil success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a school setting.
  • Strong behaviour management and lesson planning skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • A proactive, organised, and confident approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
