Job Title: Laboratory Technician – Boston
Location: Boston
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term
GSL Education is seeking an organised and reliable Science Laboratory Technician to support a secondary school in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in Science who enjoys working in a practical and supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will assist the Science department by preparing equipment and materials for lessons, ensuring laboratories are safe, organised, and fully equipped.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up equipment for Science lessons and experiments
- Maintain laboratory equipment and materials
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Support teachers during practical lessons where required
- Monitor and organise stock levels within the department
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A strong interest in Science or previous laboratory experience
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a school or laboratory setting (desirable)
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
