Music Teacher – Secondary School (Spalding)
Location: Spalding
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Permanent
GSL Education is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to work in secondary schools across Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students through music and encourage creativity, confidence, and performance skills.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students with both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons
- Teach a range of musical skills including performance, composition, and theory
- Encourage creativity and student participation in lessons
- Prepare students for assessments and performances
- Support extracurricular music activities where required
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Music in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- A passion for music education and student development
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
