Science Teacher – Secondary School (Grimsby)

Location: Grimsby
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Permanent

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across Grimsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Assess and monitor student progress effectively
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students of varying abilities and learning needs
  • Maintain strong classroom behaviour management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • A passion for motivating and supporting students
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
