Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Scunthorpe)
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work in secondary schools across Scunthorpe. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students and help them develop confidence and success in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality Maths lessons
- Support students in developing strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Promote high standards of behaviour and achievement
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- A proactive and adaptable teaching approach
- A passion for supporting student progress and attainment
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
