Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teachers to work in schools across Sheffield.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality lessons across Design and Technology subjects, helping students develop creativity, problem-solving abilities, and practical knowledge in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities of a Design and Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach students across Key Stages using creative and practical teaching methods
- Support students in developing design, manufacturing, and technical skills
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a safe workshop environment
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders
Requirements of a Design and Technology Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Design and Technology or a related subject
- Experience teaching Design and Technology in schools is desirable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for practical and creative education
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
