Salary: £460 – £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking motivated and caring Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Sheffield.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers and students to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable school experience or continue a rewarding career in education support.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students
- Assist students with their learning, development, and classroom tasks
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials when required
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times
Requirements of a Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is beneficial
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for education and student development
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
