Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to work with schools in Worksop, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity about people, places, and the environment.

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, encourage critical thinking, and support students in exploring global issues and environmental challenges.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach topics such as climate, ecosystems, population, and global development.
  • Encourage research, analysis, and independent learning.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
