Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

GSL Education are hiring dedicated individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or fitness to work in schools across Worksop.

While the role is advertised as Sports Coach, the position is focused on supporting students within classroom and school settings. You will help pupils stay engaged in lessons, encourage positive behaviour, and provide support throughout the school day.

This role is ideal for candidates who are confident working with young people and want to use their leadership and communication skills in education.

Sports Coach - About the Role:

You will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students across different lessons and activities. The role includes classroom support, supervising pupils, and helping create a positive and focused learning environment.

Your experience from sports or coaching backgrounds will help you motivate students, build strong relationships, and encourage participation.

Responsibilities of Sports Coach:

  • Support students during lessons and classroom activities
  • Assist teachers in maintaining engagement and focus
  • Supervise classes when needed and follow school behaviour policies
  • Encourage positive attitudes and participation in learning
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups requiring additional support
  • Help with daily classroom and school routines

Requirements of Sports Coach:

  • Experience in sports coaching, fitness, or similar fields
  • Confidence working with groups of young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Professional, reliable, and flexible approach
  • Interest in supporting students within schools
