GSL Education is seeking an energetic and motivated PE Teacher to work in a secondary school in Grimsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical education and healthy lifestyles.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging participation and supporting students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of sports and activities
- Promote teamwork, fitness, and student wellbeing
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively
- Encourage participation and positive behaviour during lessons
- Support extracurricular sports activities where required
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enthusiasm for sport, fitness, and student development
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
