Job Title: Sports Coach

Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are recruiting enthusiastic and approachable individuals with experience in sports, coaching, or fitness to support schools across Dinnington.

Sports Coach - About the Role:

You will work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupils throughout the school day. Duties will include helping students during lessons, supervising classroom activities, and promoting a focused and respectful atmosphere.

Your experience in coaching or fitness can help students develop confidence, improve engagement, and maintain positive behaviour.

Responsibilities of Sports Coach:

  • Support pupils during classroom lessons and activities
  • Help maintain a calm and structured learning environment
  • Supervise students and encourage positive behaviour
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils who need additional support
  • Use coaching and mentoring skills to motivate students
  • Assist staff with day-to-day classroom and school routines

Requirements of Sports Coach:

  • Background in sports coaching, fitness, or similar environments
  • Confidence working with children or young people
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional and adaptable approach to work
  • Interest in supporting education and student development
