Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Support pupils in overcoming behavioural barriers and achieving success in a positive learning environment!

GSL Education are currently recruiting committed Behaviour Support staff to work in schools across Dinnington.

As part of the Behaviour Support team, you will work closely with pupils who require additional guidance to manage behaviour, improve engagement, and build confidence within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies consistently.
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
  • Assist with de-escalation and conflict resolution when required.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams to support pupil progress.

Requirements of Behaviour Support:

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
