Job Title: Maths Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day

A number of secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking a confident and skilled Maths Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured mathematics lessons, supporting students of varying abilities, and ensuring strong progress across KS3 and KS4. You will create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence and problem-solving skills in mathematics.
Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan and adapt lessons to meet varying student abilities

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Assess, track and support student progress effectively

Create a structured and supportive learning environment

Encourage student participation and confidence in Maths
-
Work collaboratively with departmental staff
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience teaching Maths in secondary school settings

Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
-
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Adaptable, professional and organised approach
-
Ability to inspire and motivate learners in Mathematics
