Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £190 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A variety of secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide reliable classroom cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will step into different classrooms to deliver pre-prepared lessons, maintain learning continuity, and manage behaviour effectively. This role offers excellent variety and flexibility, making it ideal for teachers who are confident working across different subjects and school settings without the demands of long-term planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment

  • Support student engagement and task completion

  • Adapt quickly to different school routines and expectations

  • Report any concerns to relevant staff where appropriate

  • Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absence

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

  • Experience working in secondary school environments

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confident, flexible and professional approach

  • Ability to adapt across subjects and settings

  • Reliable and consistent availability
