GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Grimsby, Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings while making a real difference in the classroom.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a range of learning needs, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide both academic and pastoral support. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools, gaining valuable experience in different educational environments.
This role will begin on a temporary supply basis, with the potential to move into a long-term or permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement
- Support students with additional needs, including SEN
- Adapt to different school settings and age groups
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in working with children and young people
- A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children or transferable skills (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to work on a flexible, supply basis initially
