Nursery Practitioner
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £93 – £105 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children’s development and wellbeing are at the heart of everything.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and daily care. The successful Nursery Practitioner will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment, helping children to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
This Ashford-based nursery provides a warm and inclusive setting with a strong focus on early childhood development. Staff are supported and valued, making it an excellent environment for a Nursery Practitioner to grow and develop professionally.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Childcare (essential)
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (preferred)
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or in an early years setting
- A nurturing and patient approach with a genuine passion for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. All successful applicants will be subject to background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
