SEN Teacher – Lincoln

Temporary to Full-Time | Monday to Friday

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work in schools across Lincoln, on a temporary basis with a view to going full-time. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and creating an inclusive learning environment.

The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) across either Primary or Secondary settings. You will play a key role in supporting students’ academic progress, social development, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Support students with a variety of SEN, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Monitor and assess student progress, implementing effective interventions
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Experience teaching children with additional needs in either Primary or Secondary settings
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
