Behaviour Mentor – Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Temp to Full-Time | Monday to Friday

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to work in schools across Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This is a full-time opportunity, initially on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will support children of all ages with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to manage behaviour, build positive relationships, and engage with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support for students with behavioural difficulties and SEN
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils across different age groups
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions
- Support students both inside and outside of the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN and behavioural needs
- A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
- Ability to adapt to working with a range of ages and needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Full-time availability is essential
