English Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Lincoln
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Permanent
GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join secondary schools in Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students and develop their confidence in reading, writing, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Support students in developing literacy and analytical skills
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring young learners
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
