GSL Education Lincolnshire are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work across a range of educational settings in the Boston area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting young people with different learning needs and abilities.
You will be working across primary, secondary, and SEN environments, supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and helping them to engage positively in education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, resilient, and able to adapt to different classroom settings.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience working with children or young people in education or care settings
- Be confident supporting pupils across primary, secondary, and/or SEN environments
- Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Be patient, proactive, and resilient
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing classroom needs
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (desirable)
Applicants with transferable experience from care, youth work, or support roles are also encouraged to apply.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS on the update service or completing an application for a new check.
