Job Title: Science Teacher

Salary: Up to £200 per day

A number of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking confident and knowledgeable Science Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, following pre-set schemes of work or departmental planning. You will ensure students remain engaged, challenged and supported in their learning while maintaining strong classroom management.
Responsibilities:

Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan and adapt lessons where required to meet student needs

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Assess and monitor student progress
-
Maintain a positive and focused learning environment

Support students in developing subject knowledge and understanding

Work collaboratively with departmental staff when needed
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Strong subject knowledge in Science
-
Experience teaching or supporting learning in secondary schools
-
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Professional, adaptable and reliable approach
-
Ability to engage and motivate students effectively
