Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects, maintaining classroom control and ensuring students remain on task. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and is confident managing groups in a school setting.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lessons across different subjects

Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensure students remain engaged and complete set work

Support a positive and structured learning environment

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Maintain professionalism throughout the school day
Requirements:

Experience working with young people is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confident, calm and adaptable approach

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

A genuine interest in supporting education
