Autism Support Worker – Lincoln

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to work with primary and secondary-aged pupils in schools across Lincoln. This rewarding role is ideal for individuals with experience in care, support work, or similar settings, or those who hold relevant qualifications and are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The Role:
- Support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group support within classroom settings
- Help pupils develop communication, social, and emotional skills
- Assist with behaviour support and creating a positive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to support student progress
Requirements:
- Experience within care, support work, SEN, or a similar setting is preferred
- Relevant qualifications in education, health & social care, psychology, or childcare will also be considered
- Must be available to work full-time
- Open to both supply and long-term opportunities
- Patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young people
