SEN Teaching Assistant – Sleaford, Lincolnshire

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in schools across Sleaford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in care, support work, or similar settings who are looking to transition into education or continue supporting vulnerable young people.

The Role:

  • Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Help students access learning and develop confidence, communication, and independence
  • Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Provide consistent support throughout the school day

Requirements:

  • Experience working within care, support work, SEN, or a similar setting is essential
  • Must be available to work full-time
  • Open to both day-to-day supply and long-term placements
  • Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
