Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Day-to-day
GSL Education is seeking a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy supporting children and young people and want to make a meaningful impact in education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in class on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom preparation
- Encourage student engagement and positive behaviour
- Provide support for pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise pupils during classroom activities and transitions
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
- A patient, positive, and supportive attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
