SEMH Teaching Assistant

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students in schools across Lincoln. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour using positive strategies
- Support the delivery of tailored learning activities
- Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or vulnerable young people
- Calm, resilient, and able to build strong relationships
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s wellbeing and development
