Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Dinnington
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are calling on resilient and proactive Behaviour Support professionals to make a difference in a school in Dinnington. The Behaviour Support role involves working closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them stay focused and succeed in a structured environment.

Responsibilities of Behaviour Support:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff.
  • Monitor progress and report concerns where necessary.
  • Maintain safeguarding standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
